The Kids Club is the place for family friendly fun at Art Deco Weekend. The stage will feature music, dance, theater, storytime and more for kids of all ages. The Bass Museum, Wolfsonian-FIU, PAMM and others will provide free crafts as well.

Children’s programming
Flappers and Dappers: Wolfsonian-FIU Museum presents “Flappers & Dappers: Dress in Deco with The Wolfsonian-FIU” Travel back to the 20s and 30s through fashion! Learn about Art Deco design by creating your very own flapper headpiece or dapper hat.
Clay Art: Bass Museum will help families will use clay and markers to recreate a mini replica of the monumental sculpture in Collins Park by Ugo Rondinone, Miami Mountain.
Art with PAMM: PAMM will help you create your own masterpiece with free family art-making lead by Pérez Art Museum Miami teaching artists.
Art Deco Toys: Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL) will teach families more about the toys of the Art Deco era. The Art Deco Museum’s toy display will take up residence in the Kids Club for Art Deco Weekend. Families can create their own paper dolls or build an Art Deco building with construction toys created and popularized in the first half of the 20th Century.

Tours depart at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday
Learn about Miami Beach’s Art Deco with a very entertaining character! Tours leave from the MDPL booth in the Kids Club.
Feathered Flamingos: Flamingo Park Neighborhood Association (FPNA)
The Flamingo Park Neighbors Association will be making feathered flamingos in the Children’s Area. Come create your own bird and meet your neighbors!
Fienberg Fisher K-8 Parent Teacher Association (PTA):
PTA volunteers will be selling Hot Dogs, Pizza, Wraps, Chips, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Raw Juice, water and soft drinks. All proceeds will benefit Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center PTA. The booth is sponsored by GRIECO LAW and Beach Towing.
