Junior Reporter: Frost Museum Field Trip

Macaroni Kid Weston - Davie

By William and Isabel May 1, 2021

I: We went to the Frost Museum with friends and it was really fun. W: The Museum has 6 floors, a cafe, Planetarium, and Aquarium.

W: When I went in I was excited to go to Feathers to the Stars because the Museum has paper airplanes to fly and a simulator where you can fly a plane. I: I thought the facts about birds and dinosaurs were interesting. They also have a cool rocket ship you can launch.

W: The third floor we visited the Aquarium and we saw different colors, shapes, and sizes of fish.  We moved sand around and the computer-controlled us making mountains which were the red part.

I: My favorite place to visit was the stingrays on the fourth floor. The Museum lets you touch them and we had to be careful not to touch their tail. They said to put your pointer finger and middle together to pet their wings.

I: They have a Planetarium which is like a movie theatre where we learned about the Earth and Solar System. We learned the second largest planet is Saturn.

I: We went on Gravity Chairs and had to pull ourselves up to see how our weight would be on Mars, the Moon, and Pluto.  It was a fun exercise to do!

W: In conclusion, it was a great time visiting the Frost Museum with our friends and they have yummy ice cream sandwiches!  I: I can't wait to go back again soon!
