Disney on Ice

By Arabella May 1, 2023

My visit to Disney on Ice at the Watsco Center on the University of Miami’s campus was super fun.  The ice skaters were very professional and the storyline was interactive and entertaining.  Some of the stories included Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Rapunzel, and Moana.

My favorite was Moana because of the crab, the song “Shiny” is so fun and the costume was very well done. I loved all of the Moana character costumes, there were Maui’s tattoos and glow-in-the-dark bioluminescence.

Another story that I really liked was Rapunzel, at one point she was using aerial silks and it looked like she was dangling from her own hair. I was expecting Ariel the mermaid because of the water vibe I was getting from the set, but I think that was from Moana. And get this: all of the silverware in Beauty and the Beast were SPOONS – just like me when I did that play last year!

There were jokes with great timing and there were so many songs that everyone in the stadium was singing along too. Overall this was great experience and I would recommend it to Disney Lovers of any age – I would definitely go back!
